Each year, I have the opportunity to honor nonprofit organizations for the essential work they do for Central Valley residents as part of California Nonprofits Day (June 5). The services that nonprofit organizations provide has become more essential than ever.
I am excited to shine a spotlight on the exceptional organizations that have uplifted our community during these challenging times. Nonprofits have shown incredible leadership providing services like meal delivery, health care, youth services, affordable housing and homeless services, just to name a few.
I invite you to nominate a nonprofit that you believe should be honored for their positive impact. We are considering nominations for nonprofit organizations that are located in Merced County, Madera County, and parts of Fresno County (Coalinga, Firebaugh, Huron, Kerman, Mendota, and Northwest Fresno).
Please submit your nomination by 5pm on April 12, 2024.
